Today Room 5 were able to use the I pads with the sound on.
Thanks Mr Gunn for arranging these head phones for us. Now we can fully utilize the ipads while not distracting other people. They also help us to keep focused. A win=win for us all :)
A number of our classmates participated in the Matariki Festival on Friday night.
The showed the Gospel Value of Community and demonstrated the key competency of Relating to Others by the way the encouraged and supported each other on and of the stage. You all represented St Joseph's School so admirably. Awesome stuff !!!

On Monday Mrs Sharon Wards share Bad Jelly the Witch with us. Her expressive reading had us all "hooked in"!
Mufti day, gold coin donation and a Firefighter Obstacle Course was the order of the day today. Great organization by our school leaders to support our local Firemen with their Sky Tower Challenge.
This week Paddy Dillon represented our School in the Scripture Reading Competition at Saint Mary's in Palmerston North.
Paddy can be extremely proud of his oral presentation. He competed in this competition at a very high standard.
This Sunday is The Feast of the Ascension of Our Lord which commemorates the bodily Ascension of Jesus into heaven.
We hope that many of us are able to attend Mass this Sunday at 9.00am.
