Today we had a visit from a published author Jenny.

God in Creation

Today we encountered God when Tina bought her guinea pigs to visit. Mummy and her three babies. God is so awesome! How wonderfully made is all creation! We can see signs of Gods presence in all animals...especially baby ones.

This week we are trying to Make A difference with our Caritas Challenge. We have gegun with our Hui Karakia this morning. Mrs Higginson shared information with us this morning. We are thinking about water and and the world wide issues regarding the availability of clean, safe water and our responsibilies with this.
Tomorrow is our School Challenge Day...watch this space!

Life Education Trust

This week we visited the Life Education Bus.

Room 5 covered these ideas

Mobile classroom learning overview:-

o    discuss and share what 'feelings' are and where they live in our bodies

o     talk about how feelings happen and how we don't have control over what we feel but we do have control on how we act when we have these feelings

o     meet 'Billy' on his first day at school and get children to point out how he may be feeling, why and what he or we can help him - displaying kindness

o    How can we keep ourselves safe and where do we go for help
