Tabloid Activities

Year 5 and 6 joined other Students from the Palmerston North Catholic Diocese for a morning of Team building Fun and Challenges.

This experience was awesome and we all enjoyed the activities aswell as spending time with other students the same age as ourselves.

Caritas Challenge 2015

At our School we join other Catholic Schools around New Zealand by  taking up this Challenge on Friday 27 March.
We will Move It  |  Live It  |  Sweat It by:-
#Wearing mufti with barefeet
#Each class will spend some time carrying buckets of sand around our fitness track during part of the day.
#We will spread our shrapnel donations inside a flame- to represent the Theme in Lent this Year-Light a fire in the heart of the world
#We will eat a lunch together of rice and water
#We will Pray together for those affected by natural disasters
Together we can make a difference to the lives of those who most need it.

Cooperative learning activities

This week Room 5 have been working cooperatively to support our learning.
We have  shared our learning about Place Value using dice with Room 2.
Room 1 joined us for prayer and we all learned the actions to a song we already knew the words.
We all get alot out of these learning opportunities.

Room 2 and 5 spent some great learning time together. Room 5 taught Room 2 a Number Knowledge game and room 2 asked us questions for their Statistics Investigation.
We enjoyed learning  together.

Cooperative Learning

Room 5 have been working in groups to discuss ways to solve Maths problems. They are being super successful with sharing their thinking using  different strategies to solve number problems. Tina pai Room 5.
