Fascinating Find.

Camryn's Dad, Mr Higginson, was running with Mr Murphy in the Ruahines when he discovered this Powelliphanta, a native snail shell at the very top. These are in great danger of extinction.

Treasuring our Baptism

26th of October 2016... Happy Baptism day Sophie. 1 year since you were Baptised in Christ and became part of the Communion of Saints. We should treasure our Baptism. It is a date to remember and celebrate.

Winter Warmers wind-up















Today we wrapped up the Winter Warmers. All those that completed the Book Reviews and follow-ups received a fess book and goodiebag. Everyone who took part received one of the goodie bags. 
They had to complete a round of literary activities. the seniors on their own and the juniors working cooperatively with the help of a year 8. Thank you Eastern and Central Trust for your financial backing for this programme. Please keep it up. We all love this programme.

Social Justice Week and Te Wiki o Te Reo Maori-Kia Ora!-woven together.

We had a rawe(cool) time on Tuesday. First we gathered together for Hui Karakia where we reflected on the theme for this years Social Justice Week-Weaving Bonds of Belonging-Knowing our neighbours.

After that we welcomed The parents who had so generosly offered to come and share their knowledge with use of Raranga with harakeke. We all made putiputi. Arent't we clever! Tino pai!
